Lemuel John Nuesca
Vice President

As UPS Vice-President, I will be supporting Sonny and the rest of council in making sure our initiatives run smoothly and that students feel supported throughout the year. A big part of my role will be overseeing the Student Initiative Fund by helping review budgets, funding requests, and reimbursements for student clubs and events. Beyond the logistics, I also want to be someone students can approach when they feel overwhelmed, need guidance, or just need someone to talk to when the stress of pharmacy school gets too much.

If I Could Be a Medication, I Would Be...

  • Spironolactone, because at this point, I'm basically off-label for everything

As Executive Secretary, I am responsible for overseeing matters related to UPS points, awards, clubs, and maintaining organization within UPS council. This includes the inputting of UPS points following events, approving new clubs, maintaining the UPS calendar of events, setting meetings and deadlines for UPS council, and more!

  • In 2024, I lived in Hong Kong for 2 months as a summer research exchange student at the City University of Hong Kong!

Senior Finance Director

UPS Finance has some big plans this year including focus on seamless transitioning of routine bill payments, CRA correspondence, and ensuring student clubs are funded! Finance is looking to support the next cohorts of 3Y students and ensure their financial supports remain robust.

Megan Obermayer
Senior External Affairs Director

As the Senior External Affairs Director, I assist with weekly Lunch and Learns hosted by the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. I sit on the PAM, SIF, and Charity Week Committee to support student engagement. I also support the Junior External Affairs Director. Additionally, I serve as the Canadian Society for Healthcare-Systems Pharmacy (CSHP) Senior Liaison where I coordinate activities for students to promote hospital pharmacy and related initiatives. This year, I hope to diversify the events offered to students to learn about hospital pharmacy and to increase awareness of the benefits of being a CSHP member!
